Carl MacArthur : Teacher
Hello, my name is Carl. I graduated from Western High School in Anaheim, California. I continued my education at Cypress College and transferred to California State University of Fullerton to receive my B.A. in Secondary Mathematics. I then furthered my education at the University of LaVerne and received my M.S. in Educational Counseling.
I grew up in Anaheim California and love the beach and theme parks (Disneyland). What makes a good Math Teacher is expected to demonstrate excellent math skills, analytical thinking, instruction abilities, patience, and communication with the students. My teaching experience is teaching at Long Beach Jordan High School, then working at Fullerton College for a few years. I moved to Utah in 2016 and taught one year at Butler Middle School and then at East Hollywood High School. I have been working with The Arena since 2017. My family and I love to go camping at the lakes and ride jet skis.
